The Black Business Growth Initiative (BBGI) invites Western Cape-based, BBGI-registered businesses to a practical, hands-on workshop designed to help entrepreneurs register on the Western Cape Government and City of Cape Town vendor databases. The objective of this workshop is simple: to help businesses become visible and accessible to government procurement opportunities. Once registered on the vendor listings, businesses may be invited to quote for suitable government work, creating a practical pathway to make government one of their potential clients. This workshop will benefit SMMEs, entrepreneurs, suppliers, and service providers in the Western Cape who want to position themselves for public sector opportunities but need step-by-step assistance with the registration process, including the compliance requirements. The session is collaboration between the Department of Economic Development and Tourism, Provincial Treasury, City of Cape Town, Black Management Forum, and Black Business Growth Initiative, bringing together credible partners committed to enterprise development and inclusive economic growth.
